Samuel L. Jackson made his first appearance as Nick Fury in a post-credit scene of ‘Iron Man’ (2008). He visits Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in his Malibu home to talk more about the Avengers initiative. This marks a start for his recurring appearances in future Marvel movies.
‘Iron Man 2’ (2010)
In the sequel to Iron Man, he sends Agent Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johannson) to learn more about Tony Stark and to find out if he is worth recruiting or not. Toward the end of the movie, he hires Tony as a consultant for his initiative.
