Tom Holland who recently worked on ‘The Crowded Room’, a mini-series which he executive produced talks more about how his life is after recently turning 27. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he talks more about life, Spider-Man, Zendaya, and future plans.
“The thing is, I love my job. I love my friends. I’m not worried about what people think. The only thing I really care about is how I feel. And right now, I feel really happy and excited for people to see this show.” said Tom, when asked about his show.
This being the first show he executive produced, came to him when he was ‘looking for his next job’ and his agents told him of the project based on the novel ‘The Minds of Billy Milligan’ by David Keyes.
When asked about how things are with Zendaya, and why she could not attend the premiere of the show, Tom Holland says “We’ve been to events together before, But she’s visiting her grandma, We’re two very busy people, and we’re on the opposite sides of the world at this present time, so she couldn’t come.”
The duo first met in 2016, when they were cast as Spider-Man and MJ for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Tom and Zendaya have always kept the details of their relationship private but the couple have been together for almost a year now.
They were recently seen together at the inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Event in Mumbai in April. Before that, the two were seen attending an Usher Concert together.
Tom had a lot to say about his family as well, the British actor has 3 younger brothers, twins Harry and Sam (both aged 24) and Paddy (18).
“My dad is literally the greatest dad in the world,” Holland says. “Throughout all the hardships of being a comedian — the highs and the lows — I never saw it. All I saw was the happiest man alive. That’s the mark of a really good dad.”
Tom Holland and Spider-Man
Tom who has played the friendly neighborhood hero in 6 different Marvel movies, talks more about what the web-slinger has been up to.
“It was wonderful,” Holland says on working with other Spider-Men in Spider-Man: No Way Home “Myself, Andrew, Tobey — we have this amazing bond as three people who have been through something that is so unique that we really are like brothers. We have a great group chat and we catch up every now and then. It’s called the Spider-Boys.”
When asked about the 4th installment of him as Spider-Man, Holland says that he’s a bit apprehensive about it. “There’s a bit of a stigma about the fourth one in all franchises. I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life.”
