Scarlett Johansson leaked the conversation in The Avengers cast group after Jeremy Renner’s accident. She admitted that she was so sad to hear the news. Thanks to Renner’s significant recovery process, the worries of ScarJo and other Avengers members are gradually dispelled.
ScarJo, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, and Mark Ruffalo even joked through the internal Avengers chat group. They admit that Jeremy Renner who plays Hawkeye has beaten other actors because he shows great strength like a superhero.
“That’s the action of a real superhero. It’s so unbelievable,” she continued.
ScarJo also admitted that she had visited Renner in the last month. She visited Jeremy Renner’s residence in Los Angeles with Chris Evans. At that time, ScarJo admitted that she was very happy because she had thought that she would never be able to meet Renner again.
That fear vanished after seeing her best friend recovering after suffering dozens of broken bones and other serious injuries. ScarJo also remembers meeting after the accident full of joy because they exchanged jokes and laughs. She also mentioned that Renner’s mental condition had recovered so he was able to recover quickly.
“To be honest, I was really happy to see him. I was worried and didn’t know if I would be able to see him again,” said Johansson.
“I not only met him again but also saw him grow to be so amazing mentally. And I really enjoyed seeing him so happy and funny. We laughed a lot,” Johansson continued.
Jeremy Renner is now able to walk normally again after having an accident at the beginning of the year. Through a video, he shows this progress until he is finally able to walk normally without aids. Jeremy Renner was previously hospitalized for trauma to his chest and bones in the 2023 New Year after a 6.4-tonne snow-cleaner ran over him.
The accident occurred after Renner tried to save his nephew from the car he was driving had an engine failure that left him unable to control it. Several months after undergoing treatment and recovery, the actor returned to the red carpet to attend the premiere of his latest series, Rennervations.
Jeremy Renner & His Fatal Accident
The New Year’s snow blower accident is a moment that Jeremy Renner will remember for the rest of his life. He almost died that day if he didn’t get medical help right away. Now he is almost recovered and has activities as usual. The Hawkeye star also shared that experience in his latest interview with ABC.
Appearing in a wheelchair, Renner revealed that the accident happened because of his fault. He also explained that he had used the Snowcat-branded car many times and it was safe. Unfortunately, that day his nephew, Alex, tried to help him. The slippery snowy road conditions made him almost lose control several times until finally, Alex escaped his sight.
Renner also lowered one foot to the ground while looking for Alex but unfortunately, his balance was disturbed and he fell. He also tried to get up again and tried to control the car for fear of hitting his nephew but instead, he fell into the car’s path and was run over.
“It happened like that and it was my fault. I also have to pay for it,” he said.
His nephew immediately contacted their neighbor, Rich Kovac, who immediately called 911. He also requested air support for Renner because his condition was very bad and covered in blood.
“Listen to me, you guys need to get air support here immediately. He’s so bad,” Kovac’s tape was shown on ABC.
20 minutes later medical help arrived and immediately took him to the hospital. Renner also apologized to his family for causing them to panic because of the incident.
“I’m sorry for making them like this. This is my responsibility. I feel bad because my actions caused them grief,” he concluded.
