Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 7 finally saw Katsumi Orochi go against Pickle. After practicing hard with Retsu Kaioh, Katsumi decides to take on the primitive beast. Baki Hanma Season 2 is the sequel to the popular anime ‘Baki’.
The anime is based on the manga, ‘Baki the Grappler’ by Keisuke Itakagi. Baki Hanma Season 2 is divided into two parts, with Part 2, titled ‘The Father vs Son Saga’ all set to release on August 24, 2023. Here’s everything you need to know about Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 7.
Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 6: Recap
In Episode 6, Katsumi after hours of practicing is finally able to master his ‘Mach Punch’. Katsumi feels like this is his chance to prove himself to Doppo Orochi, and also justify his position as the chairman of the ShinShinkai School of Karate. Katsumi feels that his new Mach Punch, which is faster than the speed of sound will help him prove himself.
Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 7: Katsumi Orochi
Katsumi is on his way to fight Pickle at the baseball stadium. On his way, he is surprised by 2 women, his adopted mother, the wife of Doppo, and his birth mother. Katsumi hugs both of them and is proud of the fact that he has 2 mothers. Doppo adopted Katsumi from the circus after his father died in an accident.
Katsumi steps into the stadium to see that all 55,000 members of ShinShinkai Karate School are there to cheer him on. The young leader now had fully matured to accept the incredible expectation that had been placed upon him. He walks towards the gate, and Pickle comes rushing at him.
Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 7: The Mach Punch
Katsumi manages to deal multiple blows to Pickle’s vitals. He does send the primitive man flying but Pickle manages to get up. Baki and others who are watching from the stadium are surprised to see Katsumi becomes so strong.
Katsumi takes a full kick from Pickle which sends him across the stadium. He feels now is the correct time to make use of Mach Punch. Pickles who sees Katsumi as food and not a plaything, comes rushing towards him.
The Karate Master uses the Mach Speed on Pickle which sends him flying. Pickle is temporarily knocked down and the whole stadium erupts with cheers for Katsumi. While his Mach Punch was effective, Katsumi broke his own fists doing so.
Pickle gets back up again and attacks Katsumi, who defends himself using Mach attacks. Katsumi decides to use his special movie, an elevated form of the Mach Punch. It knocks out Pickle for good but also Katsumi completely destroys his hand with bones protruding from his skin.

Katsumi realizes that Pickle is not unconscious, he is sleeping. Dr. Albert Payne explains to the confused spectators that Pickle feels he has already defeated his prey, therefore he decides to wait for the prey to drop dead. Pickle wakes up from his sleep and rushes towards Katsumi, who has run out of weapons in his arsenal.
Will Pickle eat Katsumi? Does the Karate Master have any more special moves? Will they be able to stop Pickle? Hopefully, we can hope for the better in the next episode of Baki Hanma Season 2.
