Season 2 of ‘Baki Hanma’ is all set to release this month. The popular Netflix anime is based on the manga ‘Baki the Grappler’ by Keisuke Itakagi. Baki is a high school student who fights with only one goal in his mind, to defeat his father, Yujirou Hanma who is the strongest in the world.
Alongside Baki, Yujirou Hanma, Pickle, Retsu Kaioh, Jack Hanma, and Dr. Albert Payne will be starring in the anime. Season 2 of Baki Hanma is based on the Pickle Arc from the manga and it will be released in two parts.
Part 1 titled ‘The Pickle War Saga’ will be available on July 26, 2023, and Part 2 titled ‘The Father Vs. Son Saga’ will be available on August 24, 2023. Fans of the anime are hoping to see the long-awaited fight between the Father and Son. The previous seasons of Baki are also available on Netflix.

Baki Hanma vs Doppo Orochi – Who wins?
We all know about Baki and his thirst for revenge, but who exactly is Doppo Orochi? In the Baki Universe, Doppo Orochi is a 10th-dan karate grandmaster and head of the Shinshinkai Karate School. He is also known by many names such as ‘God of War’, ‘Man Eater Orochi’, ‘Tiger Slayer’, and ‘Fist Saint’.
Doppo Orochi is also a former champion of the underground tournament hosted by Mitsunari Tokugawa. That’s right, Bak is not the only one who has won the tournament, so if these two were to ever fight, it would be a fight worth watching.
In ‘Baki the Grappler’ manga, Baki fought the Karate Master. Doppo had known Yujirou for a long time and decided to challenge him, in order to take revenge for the two scars on his face. He hosts a special ‘Shinshinkai Day’ where he defeats all his students.
Even Baki decides to fight him and ends up losing to Doppo. Baki believes that Doppo will finally beat Yujirou Hanma, but he barely survives death, in his last fight with the Ogre. It would be interesting to see who would win if both Baki and Doppo were in their prime. The strongest Karate Master vs Strongest Boy in the World, we bet that would be a groundbreaking event in the world of Baki.
