The exact release date of Demon Slayer Season 5 has not been announced yet, but we can make some educated guesses based on the previous seasons and the production schedule of the animation studio Ufotable. The first and third seasons of Demon Slayer both premiered in April, while the Mugen Train movie and season 2 both premiered in October. Assuming that Ufotable follows a similar pattern, we can expect Demon Slayer Season 5 to premiere either in April or October of 2024.
However, there is another factor that could affect the release date: the length of the season. Demon Slayer Season 5 Plot
Demon Slayer Season 5 will continue from where season 3 (aka Season 4) left off, with Tanjiro visiting the swordsmiths’ village to get his sword repaired. There, he will meet Himejima Gyomei, the Stone Hashira, who will offer to train him for the upcoming battles against the demons. Tanjiro will also reunite with some of his friends and allies from the Demon Slayer Corps, such as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, Kanao Tsuyuri, Genya Shinazugawa, and Nezuko Kamado.
The Hashira Training arc will focus on Tanjiro’s development as a demon slayer, as he learns new techniques and skills from various Hashira (the elite members of the Corps). He will also discover more about his unique abilities as a descendant of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the legendary demon slayer who was able to use all forms of breathing styles. Tanjiro will also face some challenges and tests from Himejima and other Hashira, who will push him to his limits.
