Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 11: Retribution

Pickle realizes that Baki is hurt after that 30-meter fall. He playfully slaps and punches Baki and feels bad for treating ‘Baki’ who he considers as a play-toy, a bit too harshly. Baki on the other hand, is in pain and finding it difficult to breathe.

Baki is enraged that Pickle doesn’t fight him back. His endorphins were triggered because of the physical damage and the adrenaline boosted the Hanma blood flow. Having his pride hurt, Baki jumps off the top of the stadium, to show Pickle that he is completely fine.

Baki Hanma Season 2 Episode 11: Fighting Forms

Pickle is confused about how Baki, who was grievously injured a minute ago, managed to knock him out. Pickle’s body started trembling as he saw Baki as a sorcerer who could even control the ground below him. This was a new experience for Baki, beyond comprehension.

Baki loosens his muscles and lands more hits on Pickle as a whip. This hurt Pickle more than any punches and the giant is squirming in pain, tears flowing down his face. Pickle now takes his iconic quadruped fighting pose, to which Baki responds by doing the Kokiken, a kung-fu fighting style pose.

Pickle was utterly bewildered. Baki is less than half his size, and yet, in this small, supposedly helpless figure, he sensed he was facing the most powerful opponent he’d ever known. An opponent, even more powerful than the T-rex. He could sense the presence of all his previous enemies in Baki.
