Will there be Sabikui Bisco Season 2?

The good news is that Sabikui Bisco Season 2 has been officially confirmed by the anime’s official Twitter account @SABIKUI_BISCO on 16 july, 2023, right after the finale of Season 1. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser visual that showed Bisco, Milo and Akutagawa in front of a giant mushroom-like structure, with the caption “The journey continues…”.

The bad news is that there is no exact release date for Sabikui Bisco Season 2 yet. Of course, this is just a speculation and there may be delays or changes due to various factors, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the availability of the staff and cast, or the source material.

Speaking of the source material, Sabikui Bisco is based on a light novel series that began in March 2018 and is still ongoing as of August 2023. The light novel series has 11 volumes so far, with the latest one released on June 10, 2023. The anime adaptation covered the first five volumes of the light novel in Season 1, which means that there are six more volumes left for Season 2. This should be enough material for another 12-episode season, or even more if the anime decides to expand or add some original content.
