The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of “Ragna Crimson” announced that it will launch with a one-hour special on Japanese television on September 30, 2023. You can watch a new trailer for it further down in this article.
Ragna Crimson Anime Simulcast at HIDIVE
“Ragna Crimson” is being made under the direction of director Ken Takahashi (“Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3rei!!”) at studio SILVER LINK. Hitomi Mieno (“Little Baby Ghost”) is penning the script while Shinpei Aoki (“Our Last Crusade“) is designing the characters.
The Japanese cast stars Chiaki Kobayashi (Mash Burnedead in “Mashle: Magic and Muscles“) as Ragna, Ayumu Murase (Shouyou Hinata in “Haikyu!!“) as Crimson, Inori Minase (Itsuki Nakano in “The Quintessential Quintuplets“) as Leonica and Reina Ueda (Kanao Tsuyuri in “Demon Slayer“) as Artemisia. The streaming service HIDIVE is simulcasting the series.
The anime is based on the manga series of the same name penned by Daiki Kobayashi, which has been published in the shounen magazine “Gangan Joker” since March 2017. The publisher Square Enix has so far released twelve volumes.
