Shibuya Incident Arc

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2: ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’

The ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’ is the sixth arc from the manga by Gege Akutami. The arc primarily is based on the events that took place in Shibuya on October 31, 2018. It focuses on the alliance between Mahito and Geto (body now possessed by Kenjaku) to seal Satoru Gojo

Now fans of the anime will remember why Satoru Gojo turned evil in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. His views simply did not match with the jujutsu sorcerers, and he advocated for evolution and a world without humans. Episode 5 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was about Satoru Gojo’s best friend, which revealed more about the sorcerer and the dilemma he faced.

Shibuya Incident Arc

Since the Shibuya Incident Arc takes place after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, fans may be confused about why Suguru Geto is still alive. Suguru’s body is currently under the control of Kenjaku, one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Hopefully, more information about him will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.

One thing is for certain, many of the characters from Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 will be returning in the later episodes. Fans missed the trio of Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara, who will feature in the upcoming episodes.

Shibuya Incident Arc

The ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’ is one of the longest arcs from the manga. With more than 18 episodes left to air, we can expect the entirety of the ‘Shibuya Incident Arc’ to be included in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
