Along with Harrison Ford, the other star cast are Brandon Sklener, Helen Mirren, Jerome Flynn, Julia Schlaepfer, Darren Mann, Elsa Dutton, and others in the major roles. It’s a crime drama of the western genre with an IMDb rating of 8.4 out of 10. The creator of the drama is Taylor Sheridan. MTV Entertainment Studios production company has produced the drama. The plot focused on the Duttons who faced challenges in the 20th century with the rise of the Great Depression and Western expansion probation.
1923 Season 2 Delayed for Writers Strike
As per the Deadline, 1923 season 2 is also delayed for writers strike. After the popularity of the 1923 season 1, makers were announced for season 2. The reviews of 1923 got an overwhelming response from the audience and critics. The series focused on the Duttons family who faced new challenges in the 20th century which is mentioned above.
As per NBC Montana reports, the manager of Butte Civic Centre has contracted to Paramount+ and has revealed that the prequel series of Yellowstone, 1923 season 2 has been on hold due to the writers strike.
The Writers Guild of America strike has created a problem in the whole Hollywood industry where many movies and series of Marvel and DC are delayed especially Daredevil Born Again, ThunderBolts, and Captain America 4. Along with the Penguin spin-off series of the Batman universe also Avatar 3 and 4. But some movies and series are still in filming mode such as Welcome To Derry and Deadpool 3 is preponed.
The filming was started on June 5 but due to the payment of the writers which they are demanding it’s gone on hold until it’s solved.
1923 Season 2 Release Date and Yellowstone
1923 is the prequel series of Yellowstone which shows the stories of the ancestors of the John Dutton family who set the ranch of Yellowstone National Park. Kevin Costner as played by John Dutton and his wife Kayce Dutton played by Luke Grimes who are facing issues in Yellowstone.
Yellowstone National Park exists in real life also which is located in the United States nearest town of West Yellowstone Montana which is also under the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As per Fox News, Kevin Costner left the Yellowstone show which disheartened his fans due to some differences with the creator.
Meanwhile, the Yellowstone spin-off series 1923 season 2 was gone on hold due to WGA whose release date and trailer would be revealed after the filming of the series which is will be resumed after the WGA strike till now watch Yellowstone and 1923 season 1 is available on Prime Video before 1923 season 2.
