Will there ever be Baby Steps Season 3? Will the anime series be canceled or renewed for another season?
Baby Steps is one of the few sports animes that offers something special because it centers around tennis rather than other common sports like basketball or soccer. Not only does the show focus on athletics, but it also explores the romance subgenre, which is unusual and unheard of in the world of anime.
The protagonist of the series is a diligent young man named Eiichirou Maruo, who devotes most of his time to practicing tennis in order to one day match the finest players in the sport. But he also faces several obstacles along the way that prevent him from achieving his one and only dream.
The manga series of the same name created and illustrated by Hikaru Katsuki is the inspiration for the anime series Baby Steps. Since October 2007, it has been published in serial form in the weekly Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine. Before ending on November 1, 2017, it had a total run of 462 volumes. The manga series was popular because it was turned into a live-action TV drama series in 2016 and won the 38th Kodansha Manga Award for the Shounen category in 2014.
Baby Steps Season 3: Will it be renewed?
Baby Steps’ anime adaptation is created by NHK, and Studio Pierrot, one of the most well-known animation studios in the industry, is in charge of creating the animation. Studio Pierrot has produced a number of well-known anime series, including Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto, Bleach, and Black Clover.
The anime series’ first season debuted on April 6, 2014, and lasted 25 episodes before coming to an end on September 21 of the same year. A second season, which ran from April 5, 2015, until September 20, 2015, served as a sequel to the first one.

The manga ends with volume 47, as noted in MyAnimeList and Anime News Network, and the creator claimed that this decision was made by the publisher and not by him. With that said, it would not be necessary for the studio to announce Baby Steps Season 3 in light of the fact that the original source has been formally canceled. Therefore, even though there are plenty of sources, Baby Steps Season 3 would not be feasible.
Baby Steps Storyline
Eiichirou Maruo, a diligent and meticulous honor student, resolves to exercise more during his limited free time since he is concerned about his health. He joins the Southern Tennis Club at the start of his freshman year as a result of spotting a flier for it.
He meets Natsu Takasaki, a fellow first-year student, during his free trial at the club. She is driven to become a professional tennis player due to her passion for the game. Eiichirou, on the other hand, lives a study-centered life because he feels that it is what he must do, not because he enjoys it. But as he continues to play tennis and is more attracted by it, his routine days begin to change.
In Baby Steps, a young kid uses his drive to succeed and meticulous disposition to create a distinctive playing technique. Eiichirou’s abilities gradually advance, and he aspires to compete on an equal level with tennis’ top players.
