Zom 100 episode 1 begins with Akira Tendo who is a young man in his twenties who has been working in a popular production company for three years. 

The whole sequence was shown well which depicts the reality of the corporate world where people who are coming to fulfill their dreams and they see the reality of soul-crushing jobs where they work day and night without any rest.

The anime shows the work culture of Japan was due to the workload many youngsters committed suicide which was also seen in the episode also where Akira didn’t want to go back to his office.

Using colors in the whole sequence is one of the best choices and in animation where animators could use colors to showcase different emotions and tones. 

Zom 100 Episode 1: Akira Tendo Feels Freedom in The Zombie Apocalypse

The scene where Akira finds out that the zombie apocalypse begins and he could take control of his life is refreshing. The whole scene was the bright colors that were used as motifs such as blue sky, red color for blood, and for converting zombies which were red, green, and blue fine.

The performances of the cast especially the main lead character Akira Tendo’s voice actors in English and Japanese versions Zeno Robinson and Suichiro Umeda.

The screenplay was well written by Hiroshi Seko and directed by Kazuki Kawagoe. The music of the Zom 100 episode was given by Makoto Miyazaki which was mixed with the theme of the whole series.
