Conor ‘Angus Cloud’ Hickey, the 25-year-old American Actor, best known for his portrayal of Fezcon in the HBO television series, ‘Euphoria’ (2019-2022) died on Monday at his family home in Oakland, California.
Zendaya, who stars alongside Angus in the series, took to Instagram to share an emotional tribute to the late actor. The duo shared a lot of scenes together on screen and had a close bond off-screen.
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” Cloud’s family said in a statement. Angus’ death comes only days after his own Father died recently. According to his family, Angus intensely struggled with this loss. There was some comfort in knowing he was now “reunited with his dad, who was his best friend”, they said in a statement.

The bond they had on-screen as Rue (Zendaya) and Fezco (Angus Cloud) was something special. Fez/Fezco was more than just a drug dealer, he was a friend. In one of the scenes, Fez refused to sell drugs to Rue, because he did not want her to end up killing herself.
A more iconic scene from the series is when Fezco beats up Nate Jacobs. He does it to protect Rue and also his own interests. Fezco also had a very mature bond with Lexi (Maude Apatow). Fans remember

Zendaya on Instagram posted a heartwarming letter to Angus. The letter reads
“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor). I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it) I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…”
“they could light up any room they entered” but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way.” she added. “For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment.”
Zendaya also took a moment, to address fans. “My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone.”

Sydney Sweeney who also penned an emotional letter to Angus Cloud. Others from the cast of Euphoria also shared their condolences for the actor online. ‘Euphoria’ was Angus’ first ever acting gig, which propelled him to fame.
“We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family,” HBO said in a statement.
