Conor ‘Angus Cloud’ Hickey, the 25-year-old American Actor, best known for his portrayal of Fezcon in the HBO television series, ‘Euphoria’ (2019-2022) died on Monday at his family home in Oakland, California.
Cloud’s publicist, Cait Bailey announced his death but no cause of death was revealed. “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” Cloud’s family said in a statement.
Angus’ death comes only days after his own Father died recently. According to his family, Angus intensely struggled with this loss. There was some comfort in knowing he was now “reunited with his dad, who was his best friend”, they said in a statement.

The actor who recently turned 25 was born in Oakland, California. Angus Cloud has Irish roots, with most of his family residing in Ireland. Angus was the eldest of his siblings, twin sisters, Molly Hickey and Fiona Hickey.
Angus rose to fame with his iconic role as Fezco in Euphoria. “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family,” HBO said in a statement.
Euphoria creator Sam Levinson told Hollywood Reporter: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented, and way too young to leave us so soon. He also struggled, like many of us, with addiction and depression. I hope he knew how many hearts he touched. I loved him. I always will.” Other members of the show also shared their condolences online.
Before Euphoria, Angus had not done any acting. He was walking down the street in New York when casting scout Eléonore Hendricks noticed him. Angus at first thought of it as a scam but later met with Casting Director Jennifer Venditti and Sam Levinson who eventually made him a co-star in the series.

Fans of Angus Cloud were quick to convey their regards online for the late actor. Angus became extremely popular after the show was released and his character of Fezco became the talk of the town for quite some time.

Many fans shared videos of Angus from the show, especially some of the iconic moments of Fezco. Fezco was more than just a drug dealer, he was a friend who’d be there for you when you needed him the most, and this resonated well with the fans.

Angus Cloud had mentioned that he never wanted to make a career in acting. After Euphoria he only played small roles and featured in celebrity music videos from time to time. Hollywood mourns the loss of another talented young actor.
