Yuru Camp Season 3 Release Date

The third season of Yuru Camp was officially announced at a special event called Final Stage Greeting on October 10, 2022. The event was held simultaneously at 16 different venues across Japan and featured live viewing of the movie and recorded messages from two voice actors: Hanamori Yumiri (Nadeshiko) and Touyama Nao (Rin).

Afro, the creator of Yuru Camp manga, also confirmed the announcement on Twitter while sharing the cover of the 14th volume of the manga. He also posted a special illustration to celebrate the third season announcement. The illustration showed Nadeshiko, Rin, and Aoi Inuyama (one of Nadeshiko’s friends) smiling happily while holding camping gear.

However, no further information about Yuru Camp season 3 has been revealed yet. We don’t know when it will premiere or how many episodes it will have. We can only speculate based on previous seasons.

Yuru Camp Story

If you are not familiar with Yuru Camp yet (in which case you should definitely watch it), here is a brief summary.

Yuru Camp follows the adventures of five high-school girls who love camping in different locations around Japan. They enjoy nature, food, friendship, and relaxation in their own ways.

The main character is Rin Shima, a solo camper who prefers to camp alone in quiet places. She meets Nadeshiko Kagamihara by chance when she finds her sleeping near her campsite at Lake Motosu. Nadeshiko is a cheerful girl who wants to see Mount Fuji from different angles. They end up spending a night together by a campfire while eating instant noodles.

Later on, Rin meets Nadeshiko’s friends from her school’s Outdoor Activities Club: Aoi Inuyama (the club president), Chiaki Oogaki (the club vice-president), and Ena Saitou (Nadeshiko’s classmate). They invite Rin to join their camping trips or visit them at their clubroom.

Together they explore various camping spots around Japan while having fun conversations, learning new things about camping gear or local cuisine, and enjoying each other’s company.
