As has now been announced, the popular Japanese mobile game “Smile of the Arsnotoria” will receive an anime adaptation.

According to this, the story is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on July 6, 2022. The LIDEN FILMS studio (My Master Has No Tail), which will be directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (including Nisekoi ), is responsible for the production of the series. Midori Goto (including Attack on Titan: Junior High ) was won for the screenplay, while Takahiro Kishida (including Durarara!! ) will design the characters. Ryo Takahashi and Ken Ito compose the music together at Pony Canyon.

- Eri Yukimura as Picatrix
- Eriko Matsui as Abramelin
As already mentioned, the anime is based on the mobile game of the same name by Nitroplus, Good Smile Company and NextNinja. A manga adaptation of Smile of the Arsnotoria is slated to be serialized in the July issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine. The publisher Famitsu Bunko is also planning a novel about the work. The story revolves around schoolgirls living in the magical academy ashram.
