If you love skating and love some thrill in skateboarding, then SK8 the Infinity is going to get you that kick for adventure. the manga series that showcases these sophomore boys’ love for skating indulging themselves in new and secret competitions. The series shows how these boys are simple school boys in the day and then by midnight, they are doing scary skating and skateboarding challenges for fun.
SK8 the Infinity Season 2: Mark your Calendars!
Season 2 is announced by manga fans. The second season of the series is set to be coming in September but still the date is not confirmed. Some websites also state that it might come around 2024.
SK8 the Infinity Season 1: Plot
The story revolves around a group of hard-nosed but passionate skaters in Okinawa who enter underground skating competitions after midnight. Races (known as “S”) take place underground in an abandoned mine, littered with abandoned mine carts and various dangerous obstacles.
Reki, a sophomore student who runs and has an incredible passion for skateboarding, takes part in a race one night but accidentally breaks his board and arm. Now that he can’t practice anymore, Reki meets a new classmate, Langa, who has never skated before but needs money, and fast.
Langa soon finds himself embroiled in his first race, and unbeknownst to everyone, he has a “trap card” that could help him win. And so begins the world of extreme skating at SK8 The Infinity!
SK8 the Infinity Season 2 : What to Expect?
The first season ended with Langa winning the tournament after defeating Adams and teaches him a valuable lesson skating. Langa celebrated with his friends. Meanwhile, Shadow is heartbroken to find out that the flower girl he likes is dating someone else. In the post credits, Tadashi Adams revealed that he hadn’t sold it but now has to act as his dog. If season 2 continues with this ending, we expect Langa and his friends to go to Tokyo and compete in the S downhill skating competition. Langa must prove his skating skills against top-flight competitors.
