Secret Invasion is here and let’s be real, Nick Fury has played important roles in every storyline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe also in Marvel Comics. Marvel Studios has established Nick Fury seen in the many Marvel movies Thor, Iron Man movies series, Captain America movie series, The Avengers, Avengers Infinity War, Avengers Endgame, Spiderman Far-From Home, and Captain Marvel. In the Marvel Universe Nick Fury is seen as an important member of the Avengers. Samuel L. Jackson played Nick Fury and he is returning as Nick Fury in The Secret Invasion tv-series.
Secret Invasion: Is Nick Fury Not Seen In Any Other Marvel Movies?
Samuel L. Jackson has played Nick Fury for 15 years and is one of the oldest characters from the first phase of MCU. The very important characters of the Marvel Universe are Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Spiderman.
Nick Fury has not seen other movies such as Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and also Ant-Man. In Doctor Stranger and Ant-Man according to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is no need for Nick Fury. The one reason the world of Doctor Strange has magic and neither is mentioned but as per CBR Doctor Strange is the new Nick Fury, especially in the Sorcerer’s world. Nick Fury and Doctor Strange are known to not contact each other.
A similar case also happened with Ant-Man and as per Game Rant, Nick Fury has a cameo in Ant-Man 3 but it has not happened.
Why is Secret Invasion’s Nick Fury Not In Wakanda Universe?
As per Variety Samuel L. Jackson questioned why Nick Fury was not in Wakanda when Wakanda was in trouble in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever when Namour attacked Wakanda.
Samuel said in the interview with Entertainment Tonight that he still has not found out why Nick Fury hasn’t visited Wakanda to check on the situation of the people even after the death of T’Chala.
The first appearance of T’Challa which was played by Late. Chadwick Boseman in the Ironman vs Captain America movie the last appearance was Avengers Infinity War. T’Chala has also been seen in his character in the Black Panther film which was the first live-action movie and the first appearance of Wakanda Kingdom. Black Panther 2 storyline if Chadwick Boseman survives his disease as per a New York Times interview given by the director of the film Ryan Cooler would explore the relationship between the Father and son.
Samuel L. Jackson is set to appear in the Secret Invasion tv-series on 21st June 2023 on Disney+.
