When Is Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Coming Out?
Reincarnated as a Sword: Season 2 has not been given an official release date yet. The anime was renewed shortly after the first season ended, but no further details have been revealed. However, we can make an educated guess based on the studio’s previous schedule.
The anime adaptation was announced in September 2021 and debuted more than a year later. Following that, Season 2 was announced in December 2022, so it’s likely that it will air sometime in late 2023 or early 2024. After dying in a car accident, the protagonist is reincarnated to another world as a sword with no memory of his name, but he remembers everything from his past. Accepting his fate as a sword, he begins his journey for someone to sheathe and weave him, becoming his wielder.
On his adventures, he comes across Fran, a young catgirl slave, who uses the sword and its powers to save people. After being freed from slavery, Fran names the sword, Teacher (Shisho) and the two embark on a journey.
