Season 2 of Mashle has been finally confirmed after weeks of speculations from fans. Mashle: Magic and Muscles was one of the most popular anime titles to come out this year and safe to say, Studio A-1 has confirmed that there will be Season 2.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Komoto. It was a regular in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from January 2020 to July 2023 with 17 volumes. Season 1 of Mashle was released in April 2023.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2: Release Date
Season 1 of the anime aired from April 2023 to July 2023. The official Twitter account of the anime announced that Season 2 is officially happening. Studio A-1 will be producing the sequel.
On June 30th, 2023, the twitter account announced Season 2 of the anime along with a brand new teaser. Season 2 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles is all set to release in January 2024. No official date has been released yet, but the anime will come out in the month of January.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2: What to Expect?
Season 2 will be based on the Execution Arc from the manga. No official plot has been released yet, but the manga has officially ended in Chapter 163. We can expect the entire anime to be adapted in the next three to four seasons.
The teaser showcased that the show will also adapt from the ‘Divine Visionary Selection Exam’ in the manga.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 1: Recap
The anime follows the life of Mash Burnedead who does not have any magical abilities. He lives in a world where one’s magical abilities, determine his position in society. He aims to become a Divine Visionary and relies solely on his physical abilities. Mash finds tough competition among other students at Easton Magic Academy.
In the finale of Season 1, Mash overcomes Abel. Other than Lemon, Mash, and others are overjoyed that the students are released from being transformed into puppets. Rayne confronts a member of the Innocent Zero who disguised himself as Lance. A new threat creeps upon Mash and his friends.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2: Cast
Most of the cast from Season 1 are likely to reprise their roles in Season 2. We can also expect a few new faces such as Finn’s older brother, Rayne Ames, among others. No official cast list has been released yet, but these are the faces we expect to see again in Season 2.
