Accordingly, “The Maid I Hired Recently is Mysterious” will be launched on Japanese TV from July 23, 2022.
The project is being developed in the animation studios SILVER LINK. and BLADE under the direction of Misuzu Hoshino (including episode director at Laid-Back Camp). Mirai Minato, who has worked on an anime adaptation of Konbu’s work in the past, holds the position of chief director and screenwriter. Both are supported by Yushi Ibe (episode director on The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!). Machi Yoshino contributes the character design, while the music is composed by Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki, who also performed the task in the anime “The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!”.
Serialization of the manga began in January 2020 in Square Enix’s “Gangan Joker” magazine. In February, the fifth volume was published in Japan. Yen Press secured the series for the English market and has already published two volumes on it.
