Will there ever be We Never Learn Season 3? Will it be feasible?
We Never Learn, known in Japanese as Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (Bokuben), is one of the many harem series that focuses on the romantic comedy genre. We Never Learn and The Quintessential Quintuplets share many similarities on the surface, particularly in the plot.
The main characters of both episodes were put in a situation where they had to tutor five females from his school, each of whom had a very different personality. The main character in We Never Learn, however, was actually placed in a position where he had to instruct two of the school’s most well-known geniuses.
Taishi Tsutsui created the Japanese manga series We Never Learn, which served as its inspiration. Weekly Shonen Jump magazine ran it in serial form from February 6, 2017, to December 21, 2020. It has 187 chapters in all, which Shueisha compiled into 21 tankobon volumes.
Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai’s first three chapters were released in English as We Never Learn by Viz Media in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump on the same day as the Japanese publication as part of the “Jump Start” initiative, similar to the manga series Demon Slayer. Subsequently, the series was formally included in Weekly Shonen Jump’s roster and was shortly licensed for retail editions in English.
Renewal Status of We Never Learn Season 3
On August 27, 2018, the 39th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump published the announcement about an anime adaptation of the manga series We Never Learn. It was animated by Silver and Arvo Animation, two studios that should be unknown to the majority of us.
Idol Sister, Ore Wa Kanojo wa Shinjiteru, and Kime Koi are just a few of the hentai shows that Silver has produced prior to the We Never Learn initiative. On the other side, Avro Animation is most renowned for its anime productions including Moon, Laika, and the Bloodsucking Princess, and Monster Girl Doctor.
We Never Learn debuted on April 7 of this year and ran for thirteen episodes until wrapping up on June 30 of the same year. On November 1, 2019, a stand-alone ova to the first season came after. A second season that included thirteen episodes and served as a sequel aired from October 6, 2019, to December 29, 2019. On April 3, 2020, the studio released an ova series for the second season, exactly like they did with the first.
Regrettably, no information on a sequel has been released. We don’t know if We Never Learn Season 3 will air.
Will We Never Learn Season 3 be aired?
With the lack of official information, many fans are curious about the future of the anime series We Never Learn. So, Will We Never Learn Season 3 ever be aired?
We Never Learn Season 3 is regrettably quite unlikely. The official conclusion of the manga series is the main justification. The purpose of most anime adaptations is to promote the original work, so creating a new season would be impossible if the original had already ended and was no longer profitable. Regrettably, We Never Learn fits this description.
Not to mention that the anime had to conclude in such a way that we had to read the manga to see how it continued. Throughout the ending of the manga series, each of the main heroines has a different path you can choose, so in essence, the resolution is up to you. Even though it is clear that Uruka will prevail, we were not given a decent ending in the anime and were not shown what happened to the main character’s relationship. A time skip was also used to close the second season. To wrap up the anime series, it essentially skipped a few chapters and adapted the last few of the manga.
Thus, you should attempt reading the manga starting with the 69th chapter, which is located around the Festival Arc, if you want to see your favorite main heroine emerge victorious. You would be better off starting at the beginning to get a more enjoyable experience, though, as the anime series omitted several significant portions of the manga.
Given that, it is best to assume that We Never Learn Season 3 will never be made available. The only way to know how the tale will end up at this point is to read the manga.
