Most Anticipated Spring Anime 2023: The results are in!
The sequels of “Demon Slayer“, “TONIKAWA” and “Dr. STONE” have secured themselves a place in the top positions. But also reboots like “Hell’s Paradise” or “Summoned to Another World for a Second Time” are on top of the plan-to-watch list for many fans.
Since you could vote for multiple titles, all percentages in the list below refer to the total number of participants. This means that more than half of the participants voted for the anime that is in first place.

20. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 (7.12%)

A romantic comedy about a high school girl working part-time at a maid cafe specializing in yuri (girl-girl) relationships. She pretends to be in love with her co-worker, who is actually a lesbian and gets involved in various misunderstandings and complications.
17. The Legendary Hero Is Dead! (9,60 %)
A fantasy adventure about a young man who inherits the title and powers of the legendary hero after he dies in battle. He has to lead a group of misfits and outcasts to save the world from the evil demon lord, while hiding his true identity and his lack of experience.
16. Loving Yamada at Lv999 (10.03%)
A slice-of-life comedy about a normal office worker who falls in love with his co-worker, Yamada, who is secretly a powerful warrior from another world. He tries to impress her with his mundane skills and knowledge, while she tries to hide her extraordinary abilities and background.
15. My One-Hit Kill Sister (10.81%)
A horror thriller about a boy who discovers that his sister has a supernatural power that allows her to kill anyone with one touch. He has to protect her from the people who want to exploit or eliminate her, while also avoiding becoming her next victim.
14. Pokémon Horizons (11.07%)
A sci-fi adventure about a boy who travels to a futuristic city where Pokémon and humans coexist in harmony. He joins a team of Pokémon trainers who use advanced technology and gadgets to explore the mysteries and dangers of the city and beyond.
13. Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage (11.85%)
A fantasy comedy about a young prince who is born deaf and mute, and is considered the weakest and most useless in the kingdom. He embarks on a quest to find the legendary treasure chest of courage, which is said to grant any wish to the one who opens it.
12. Mashle: Magic and Muscles (12.72%)
A action comedy about a boy who lives in a world where magic is everything, but he has no magical talent at all. Instead, he relies on his physical strength and martial arts skills to fight against the powerful magicians who look down on him.
11. Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch! (14,58 %)
A isekai comedy about a girl who is transported to another world where she becomes a powerful adventurer thanks to a bear costume that grants her incredible abilities. She uses her bear punch to defeat monsters and enemies, while also making friends with other adventurers and locals.
10. Summoned to Another World for a Second Time (14.92%)
Kaito is an ordinary high school student who loves playing video games. One day, he receives a mysterious email that invites him to join a beta test for a new VRMMORPG called Another World. He accepts the offer and enters the game, only to find out that he is not the only one who was summoned there. In fact, he is one of the chosen heroes who have to save the world from the evil Demon King. However, this is not his first time being summoned to another world. Five years ago, he was also transported to a fantasy world where he fought alongside a group of adventurers and fell in love with a princess. But he was betrayed by one of his comrades and forced to return to his original world, losing his memories of his previous adventure. Now, he has to face his past and his present as he tries to survive in Another World for a second time.

Gabimaru is a ninja who was betrayed by his clan and sentenced to death for his crimes. However, he has a special ability that makes him immune to any form of execution. He is offered a chance to earn his freedom by participating in a secret mission: to find the elixir of immortality on a mysterious island known as Hell’s Paradise. He is accompanied by Sagiri, a female executioner who is assigned to watch over him and kill him if he tries to escape or betray the mission. On the island, they encounter deadly creatures, hostile natives, and other teams of criminals and executioners who are after the same goal. They soon realize that Hell’s Paradise is more than just an island: it is a living hell that will test their limits and their humanity.

Shiki is a boy who lives on Granbell, a planet inhabited by robots. He has always dreamed of seeing other worlds and making friends with humans. His wish comes true when he meets Rebecca and Happy, two intergalactic adventurers who visit Granbell with their spaceship Edens Zero. KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! a spin-off of the main series, this anime focuses on Megumin, a young and powerful mage who loves to use explosion magic. She travels with her friend Yunyun to the Crimson Demon Village, where they meet other eccentric mages and have various adventures. Along the way, they also encounter familiar faces from the main series, such as Kazuma, Aqua, Darkness, and Wiz.
2. Dr. STONE: New World (43.79%)
The sequel to the first season, this anime follows Senku Ishigami and his allies as they continue to rebuild civilization with science after a mysterious event turned everyone into stone. They face new obstacles and enemies, such as the Kingdom of Science’s rival faction, the Empire of Might, led by the charismatic and ruthless Tsukasa Shishio. They also explore new lands and discover new secrets about the petrification phenomenon.
1. Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc (71.96%)
The fourth arc of the manga adaptation, this anime follows Tanjiro Kamado and his friends as they travel to the hidden village of the swordsmiths who forge the blades for the Demon Slayer Corps. They meet new allies and enemies there, such as the Hashira Tengen Uzui, who specializes in sound-based techniques, and the Upper Rank 6 demon Gyutaro, who can manipulate poison. They also learn more about their own swords and abilities.
