The Rings of Power: Season 2 set images show hell from Netflix’s “Sandman”

Don't miss

For “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 2, filming is underway on the same set as the Netflix series “Sandman” It looks like the promise of a massive battle!

Currently, “The Lord of the Rings: the Rings of Power” Season 2 is being filmed in England. The stars of “The Lord of the Rings” series are back and quite obviously using the same set as Netflix for the fantasy series “Sandman.” This is shown by leaked set pictures of the Amazon Prime Video series.

As reported by Startefacts magazine, filming for the new “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” episodes is currently taking place at Bray Studios. A few set pictures were published on Twitter.

Is Mordor now being built where “Sandman” raised hell? The kingdom of the Dark Lord Sauron was brought into being at the end of the first season, when the Southlands were destroyed by the eruption of Mount Doom, as a result of an epic battle.

And such an epic battle is to be topped in season 2 of “The Lord of the Rings” series. So showrunner Patrick McKay promises that Season 2 will be “bigger and better.” And that “on every level.” Sauron, in particular, will be more in the spotlight and lead his forces.

Producer Lindsey Weber reveals, “I think it’s going to be darker, more grueling, maybe creepier.” So another battle topping the scale of the Battle of the Southlands is, as Thanos from the MCU would say, “Inevitable!”

A start date for “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” Season 2 has not been set at this time. However, we should not expect new episodes in the Amazon Prime Video novelty program before 2024.
