On the official Twitter account of the anime series “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” (jap.: “Mahoutsukai no Yome”) it was announced that the second season will be shown on Japanese TV from April 6, 2023. You can find a new trailer further down in the article.
The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 is being created at Studio KAFKA
The second season is being directed by Kazuaki Terasawa (“The Ancient Magus’ Bride – The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm”) at Studio KAFKA. Aya Takaha and Youko Yonaiyama are penning the script, while Hirotaka Katou is once again contributing the character design.
The 24-episode first season was produced at Studio WIT and aired in Japan between October 2017 and March 2018. This is available on-demand in the original audio with subtitles as well as with English dubbing on the streaming platform Crunchyroll, which will also show the second season.
The original manga series was penned by Kore Yamazaki and has been published in the shounen magazine “Comic Garden” since November 2013. The publisher Mag Garden has so far published 18 volumes in Japan.
