The second “Rent-A-Girlfriend” season is directed. by Kazuomi Koga (“Rainy Cocoa”, “Welcome to Rainy Color”) at TMS Entertainment and Comet studios. Kazuomi Koga (episode director of Goblin Slayer, among others) directed the first season (“Dr. Stone”). Mitsutaka Hirota (“Anime-Gataris”, “Nanbaka”, “The Prince of Tennis II”) is responsible for the series composition, while Kanna Hirayama returns as a character designer. In Japan, the series will be broadcast from July 1, 2022.
The first season celebrated its Japanese TV premiere in July 2020 and could be followed in this country in a simulcast on Crunchyroll. The planned release date for the first volume of the anime, which includes the first four episodes of the anime, is July 21, 2022. In addition to a second season, a Japanese live-action series is also in the works. This is also scheduled to be launched in July 2022.
Manga has been published since 2017
Reiji Miyajima launched his manga in July 2017 in Kodansha’s “Weekly Shonen Magazine”, which comprises 25 volumes in Japan.
