Storyline:
Vampire Terakomari Gandesblood (Komari for short) awakens after three years to find that she has been appointed commander of the Mulnite Imperial Army! However, her new unit consists of belligerent ruffians who rebel against their superiors at the slightest sign of weakness.
Although Komari comes from an equally powerful vampire lineage, her refusal to drink blood has made her the picture of mediocrity – scrawny, uncoordinated, and inept at magic.
