“A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life” is being directed by Yuuichi Nakazawa at Studio Maho Film. Touko Machida (“The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World”) is penning the script, while Yuuko Ooba and Yuuko Watabe are doing the character design.
The opening song heard in the video is contributed by the rock band saji, while the ending theme is sung by Miho Okasaki, who voices the character Milly in the series. Techno-electronica group Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund is responsible for the music composition.
The original light novel is by Howahowa Shiina and has been published in Japan since January 2014 with drawings by Yamaada. A manga adaptation penned by Shuusai Rikudou has been published on the “AlphaPolis Web Manga” website since June 2014.

Storyline:
38-year-old single office worker Taichi Tanaka likes to spend his free time playing video games. In the novel VRMMO “One More Free Life Online”, he creates a character named “Earth” and decides to learn a skill that is considered useless.
He makes potions that are way too tedious to make, cooks food that is way too good, and uses bizarre weapons to hunt monsters in the process
