On the official Twitter account of the anime series “My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!” it was announced that it will start airing in Japan in January 2024. You can find a trailer for it further down in the article.
My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered: Anime to be created by Okuruto Noboru
The Isekai series will be directed by Masakazu Hishida (“Pretty Rhythm”), who is also writing the script, and produced by Okuruto Noboru. Sayuri Sakimoto (Chief Animation Director on “ORIENT”) is responsible for the design of the characters.
Starring roles include Kouki Uchiyama (Izumi in “Horimiya”) as Yogiri Takatou and Miyu Tomita (Riko in “Made in Abyss”) as Tomochika Dannoura, while Tomoko Kaneda (Chiyo in “Azumanga Daioh”) takes on the role of Mokomoko Dannoura.
The original light novel is by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and has been published in Japan since October 2016 with illustrations by Chisato Naruse. A manga adaptation penned by Hanamaru Nanto has been published in the shounen magazine “Comic Earth☆Star” since March 2018.

Storyline:
When Yogiri Takatou awakens to absolute chaos during a school field trip, he finds that he and his entire class have been transported to another world. Having slept through the entire ordeal, he missed out on his gift – powers given to the others by a mysterious being during transport. In addition, he was abandoned with another classmate as bait to distract a dragon. Reluctantly, he decides to protect his companion.
