The K-thriller series Squid Games is just about to begin its second season. The trailer of the popular series is out and with this also comes the new members of the popular thriller. Season 1 of the series created a huge K-wave impacting fans and viewers across the world. Now with season 2 more of the kids’ plays will be featured and also comes with more life-threatening challenges.
New Player in Squid Game Season 2
As season 2 of the series is about to be released on Netflix around this year’s end, the markers of the show have introduced more cast into the next level of Squid Games. This week, all the cast members and the showrunner came up with the first draft of season 2 of Squid Games, which happening later this year as revealed by Netflix.
“From rising stars to veteran actors, the ensemble cast boasts a diverse range of talent and experiences. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who won an Emmy for the first season, will return to direct and executive produce the entire second season.”- according to ComingSoon.net
The new cast member added in this season is Jo Yu-ri, who is a Korean pop star and former member of Iz*One. Lee David and Won Ji-an are both known actors in South Korea. Lee Jin-uk, another popular actor in South Korean movies; is best known for his role in Glass Castle. Other cast members are Kang Ae-sim, Roh Jae-won, Park Gyu-young known for her role in Its ok not to Ok on Netflix, and Choi Seung-hyun aka T.O.P from the band Big Bang with YG Entertainment.
