The kids in the academy are somewhat different from what the outside world possesses from them but two kids trying to find out the way to seek heaven. It is available both at Hulu and Disney+
Heavenly Delusion Season 2 Release Date
The release date for the anime is yet to be revealed. The season was released on April 1, 2023, so most likely season 2 will be coming in next year. The anime series has 9 volumes which means the series might have 9 seasons.
Heavenly Delusion Season 2 Plot
So much was left up in the air in the season 1 finale of Heavenly Delusions. Did Tokio became a true cannibal and the baby she was holding was her biologically or was it a genetic clone?
Dr. Sawatari has confidence that he knew which baby it was before returning it to its mother. Now that we know that the events at Takahara Academy took place in the past, there is a good chance that Maru is the son of Tokio and Kono, which would explain why he has Hiroku abilities. We also need another season just to clear up that post-credits scene.
The Takahara Academy Runaways – Well, is it really an escape if you thought you had to go as part of an exam? We get lost. Missing students Mimihime, Taka, Shiro, and Anzu are seen on a boat heading towards a non-post-apocalyptic scene. We’re talking about impressive skyscrapers and a dazzling city bathed in bright light (hence the confirmation that these events happened in the past).
One of our main theories is that these children are the cannibals that plague the present of the story, and that their presence is leading to the destruction of the world. Not a big range, especially when combined with another big fan theory; that Doctor Usami from “Immortal Order” episode seven could be Shiro and that his lover was actually Mimihime.
In Mimihime had visions of a future where needles would be inserted into her body with tubes attached to machines. In the present day, Dr. Usami that his lover had limbs and various body parts amputated and attached to machines to prevent her from becoming a cannibal.
Now do you see why we’re desperately hoping for a second season? We also need a solution to the entire Robin Inazaki situation. Unfortunately, when Maru beat up Robin to protect Kiruko from further sexual assault, she rarely retaliated for her actions, so we have a feeling her true blessings will continue into season two.
Fans of the series will also need to know why he secretly tied a lifeless, brain-dead woman to a particularly bestial-looking man-eater and what he intended to do with this monstrosity. Not surprisingly, Robin’s rape of Kiruko had a profound effect on Kiruko’s psyche. It sent her into a downward spiral where she began to question her already shattered identity. Is she Haruki’s brain in her sister Kiruko? Is she Kiruko? Or will it somehow become an amalgamation of the two?
Your understanding of this dichotomy within yourself will almost certainly be a major plot element for season two.
