A promotional poster for ‘The Boys’ spin off ‘Gen V’ reveals what could be a connection between the Supes (Superheros) and Antony Starr’s Homelander. Gen V is the second spin off of the franchise, after the animated version, ‘The Boys Presents: Diabolical’
In the poster, Homelander’s statue, which was previously featured in the trailer for ‘Gen V’ is decapitated, with fumes of smoke coming from the top. This could be done by a Supe, and many believe it to be Golden Boy (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger) who has pyrokinetic capabilities.

More about Gen V
Set in the same timeline as ‘The Boys’, ‘Gen V’ is an upcoming American Superhero television series, developed by Craig Rosenberg, Evan Goldberg, and Eric Kripke. The show is based on the book ‘We Gotta Go’ by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
In the series, the storyline revolves around young Supes and their college days. The Supes of course cannot go to an ordinary college, that’s why Vought has established the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting. But graduating is easier said than done, as Supes compete with other Supes in this spinoff.
The trailer of Gen V confirms this as the school looks like an absolute hellhouse. Blood and guts spilled everywhere, well like the original, the show is definitely going to be R-rated for sure. Survival of the fittest is the theme of the show.
While ‘The Boys’ shed light on the dark secrets behind cameras in the superhero world, ‘Gen V’ focuses on the struggles of becoming a Supe. Injected with compound V in their blood, these adolescents wanna-be superheroes try to navigate through a world of complications, just to achieve their goals.
‘Gen-V’ is likely to crash heads with others from the world of ‘The Boys’ and fans are all excited to see their favorite superheroes and ant-heroes have a go at it. No release date has been confirmed as of yet but the show is likely to release towards the end of 2023, before season 4 of ‘The Boys’. The series will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
