DC Universe has many movies and series lined up in the coming months and the most talked about DC movie is The Superman Legacy. After weeks of auditioning and taping many popular actors and actresses for the lead roles; the other superheroes like Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, and Mr. Terrific also have been finalists in the movie. James Gunn has promised DC fans a revived action of DC movies and series in the coming year 2024.
Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl in Superman Legacy
Isabela Merced who is seen in movies like Dora-The Explorer movie and Sicario: Day of the Soldado has bagged the role of Hawkgirl in James Gunn’s Superman Legacy. Apart from her, the Twilight actor and X-Men– First Class actor, Michael Holt has grabbed the inventor and genius mind Mister Terrific played. Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, actor Guy Gardner has joined the DC universe once again in Superman Legacy as a Green Lantern. Earlier the Green Lantern was played by Ryan Reynolds alongside Blake Lively in 2011.
David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan have finalized as Superman aka Clark Kent and Lois Lane, the love interest and the reporter. Many DC series like Supernaturals and Peacemaker are on the verge of release. According to Vanity Fair, Peter Safran said-“The good news is, if you’ve seen nothing that we’ve done before, you can watch Superman Legacy, you can watch Creature Commandos, you can watch Peacemaker season two, and you can watch Blue Beetle. All of that.”
Fans confused with the DC’s co-creators plan- Is it a Superman Movie or a Justice League??
As the buzz of the revival of Superman and other DC movies back into the spotlight, many movies and series have been drafted for fans. But recently with the casting of other DC warriors, fans are skeptical of the co-creators idea of a sole superhero story. A fan commented-‘Is this a Superman movie or a Justice League movie?
