Daredevil: Born Again is an upcoming Disney+ Marvel project that is based on the Marvel Comics Character, Daredevil. It is the second series about the character after Daredevil (2015-2018) and will be part of Phase Five of Marvel.
Filming of the series began in early March 2023 but was suspended due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are the showrunners. Daredevil: Born Again Release Date
Disney+ has confirmed that there will be a second season too. The first season of Daredevil: Born Again will be released on Disney+ and will consist of 18 episodes. It was originally scheduled for release in early 2024 but the date has been pushed back further because of the ongoing strikes.
We expect Daredevil: Born Again to be released in late 2024 or 2025.
Daredevil: Born Again: Plot
With production of the series still remaining unfinished, the plot for the series remains unknown for now. We expect the series to be based on events that take place after the first series of Daredevil (2015-2018). Writers for the series include Grainne Godfree, Jill Blankenship, Aisha Porter-Christie, and others.
Who is Daredevil?
Daredevil aka Matt Murdock is a blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen, New York who leads a double life as a masked vigilante. Marvel fans will remember seeing him latest in ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ (2022). His sense of justice is pretty strong as he pursues his own personal crusade to inflict justice at night.
Being blind is not much of a disadvantage, as Murdock has trained his other senses to a superhuman level. Marvel has teased future appearances of Murdock in their upcoming series, ‘Echo’ (2024) and ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year’ (2024).
