The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart is an upcoming miniseries that will be produced by Amazon Studios. The miniseries will be based on the novel of the same name, by Australian Author Holly Ringland. Director Glendyn Ivin will be directing the series.
The film follows the life of a young girl, who at the age of 9, is taken in by her estranged grandmother. As she grows up at her grandmother’s flower farm she discovers that there are some secrets about her past that she must find out herself.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart will be released on Amazon Prime Video on August 4, 12 am Pacific Time, 2023. All 7 parts will be available to stream on the day of release.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart: Plot
The movie is based on the 2018 International Best Selling Novel ‘ The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart’ by Holly Ringland. The novel is based on the life of a young girl, Alice, who suffers a tragedy at the age of 9 and is forced to live with her estranged grandmother, June, on her flower farm.
Alice grows up under the watchful eye of June, and the women who run the farm. As she grows up, she learns about the secrets of her past, and while uncovering them, she gets an unexpected betrayal. The latter half of the novel follows Alice and her journey to find solace. It focuses on her life spanning two decades as she grows from a young girl to a strong confident woman.

The miniseries has a star-studded cast who will be seen in the native lands of Australia. Academy Award Nominee Susan Alexandra ‘Sigourney’ Weaver plays the role of June Hart, grandmother of Alice Hart, who will be played by Alycia Debnam-Carey. Susan Weaver will also be seen in James Cameron’s upcoming, Avatar 3.
