The second part of the new sequel film project, titled “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Girl” (jap.: “Seishun Buta Yarou wa Randoseru Girl no Yume wo Minai”), will accordingly open in Japanese cinemas on December 1, 2023. This adapts the eponymous ninth volume of the original light novel by Hajime Kamoshida and, like its predecessors, is being made at CloverWorks.
The 73-minute first installment, “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out” (jap.: “Seishun Buta Yarou wa Odekake Sister no Yume wo Minai”), has been showing in Japanese movie theaters since June 23, 2023.
The anime adaptation of the “Rascal Does Not Dream” series already consists of a 13-part series titled “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai,” which adapts the first five volumes, and a first sequel film titled “Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl,” which implements volumes 6 and 7.
