On December 28, Kadokawa released the 23rd volume. The manga’s English translation was licensed by Yen Press in 2016, and the 22nd volume arrived on January 17.
The first television anime, which was created by Bones, debuted in the spring and fall of 2016. In August 2017, the thirteenth manga volume included a unique video anime episode. While the fourth season debuted on January 4, the third season aired in the spring of 2019.
The anime movie Bungou Stray Dogs: Dead Apple had its Japanese premiere in March 2018 and made about 550 million yen ($4.85 million) at the box office. In May of that year, Crunchyroll aired the movie in cinemas in the US and Canada.
