Yennifer and Tissaia Reunited
Tissaia the teacher from the witch school, trains Yennifer in magic. This is an absolutely beautiful moment that shows her character turning into a soft side. Yenn and Tissaia from season 1 was quite a cat-and-mouse chase but towards the end, Tissaia should have the softness and care that Yenn longed for. As we can see from the scene that Tissaia was deeply affected by Yenn’s loss but as she returns she is more than just happy.
Dermain Flirting
Unfortunately, Dermain had an unfortunate end but his character was quite incredible. His flirting with Yennifer was quite comic and sarcastic with others brought a different angle to the series. Yes, his character was short-lived but was quite good. In the season 2 middle of the season, it was shown that elves will have to struggle and die but hope was given to them.
Temple of Melitele Fight Sequence
There have been plenty of fights in season 2 but the fight scene at the Temple of Melitele is more iconic than the rest. The combat scene was very nicely executed with effects and slow motion. But who was the guy who wanted to bring the trident?
Dysfunctional Family
Well, this scene has a separate fanbase. Though both the characters are parted and this raised the bar for season 2. Even though Yennifer and Geralt may not be on the same page but putting aside their trust issues, they come up to protect Ciri. Putting aside their issues they come together to take care of Ciri and the true meaning of love and loyalty.
Papa Geralt Saves the Day
Geralt has been very protective of Ciri in the entire season 2. But episode 7 of season 2 does shows Geralt fatherly instinct being raised. his one true love Yennifer could see how much he wants Ciri as a protective father. Nobody can stop Geralt from being with his daughter not even Yennifer.
Yennefer’s Chaos Unleashed
Yennefer’s journey has been filled with chaos itself. Her father sold her, rejected by lovers, and took her chance of becoming a mother and beauty with no one to say her own. Despite all the changes, she could not escape the Battle of Sodden Hill. Her rebellious nature unleashed her chaos for those she cares about and satiated her selfish nature.
The Wish
Like any other world, a djinn in a bottle is all a person wants. His or her wish can come true but it’s not a happy one. The djinn that had Geralt as his master could do anything, bring chaos to the world or fulfill the desire of any man. Geralt took too long to understand, he is the mater and saved Yennifer from death. He chose Yennifer but what he wished its never revealed. It started the love story of Yennifer and Geralt Yennefer.
Yennefer’s Transformation
Physical deformity often brings low self-confidence and fewer people around you. In season 1 Yennifer’s transformation is the most iconic moment in the series. She turned from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan but this triggered her ego and lust for satisfaction.
