The Underground Railroad Season 1 Finale Recap
There was a lot of suspense in the final episode of the first season. After her best friend was killed and the two babies who were left in her care after she gave birth to a stillborn baby were killed, Mabel went out to a neighboring swamp.
After discovering where she was and that she had left her small daughter behind, she was able to finally come to terms with what she was going through. She was bitten by a snake and died from the poison in the swamp, never making it back to Cora. Nobody, not even Joel Edgerton’s portrayal of the slave catcher Ridgeway, found her.
If the show gets a second season, we can count on an excellent plot. A more intricate plot and numerous twists will also be presented to viewers in the next season. What the directors have in store for us should be seen in the meanwhile.
The Underground Railroad Season 2 Plot: What To Expect?
Since Amazon Prime hasn’t formally announced it, we still don’t know if a second season will be produced. Therefore, we are unable to give you a thorough summary. However, the greatest solution would be to chronicle someone else’s narrative and eventually show us that Cora won freedom if the streaming service decides to extend the series for a new season.
