The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious gets anime series + Teaser

Through the opening of a website, it was announced today that the comedy manga “The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious” (jap.: “Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii”) will get an anime series that will start airing in Japan in July 2022. A first teaser and visual can be found further down in this article.

Anime is being created at SILVER LINK. and Blade.

The series will be directed by Misuzu Hoshino (Episode Director on “Ousama Game”) and Mirai Minato (“The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!”), who will also handle series composition, and produced at SILVER LINK and Blade studios. Machi Yoshino (Chief Animation Director on “The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn”) is responsible for character design.

The main roles feature Rie Takahashi (Mash Kyrielight in “Fate/Grand Order”) as Lilith, and Saori Hayami (Shouko Nishimiya in “A Silent Voice”) as Yuuri. The music is composed by Kouji Fujimoto (“The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!”) and Osamu Sasaki (“Junjo Romantica” ending).

“The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious” adapts the manga of the same name penned by Wakame Konbu, which has been published in “Gangan Joker” magazine since January 2020. The publisher Square Enix has so far released five volumes in Japanese stores.

The maid Lilith has been hired to take care of the whims of Yuuri, her employer’s son. Yuuri’s overzealous skepticism of her every action makes him nervous, however, as he suspects an evil plot is being hatched behind his back. Despite his paranoia, Lilith takes a liking to Yuuri and often teases him to further their bond.
