As the Japanese company Square Enix has now announced, the manga series “The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague” (Jap.: Kori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Doryo Joshi) by Miyuki Tonogaya inspired an anime adaptation. The big news was rounded off with an illustration of the manga-ka Tonogaya.

The new project is to be created in cooperation with the studio’s Zero-G and Liber under the direction of Mankyu (Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater). More information about the anime as well as production staff will be announced on August 3, 2022, when the protagonist Himuro celebrates his birthday.

The following cast members are known:

  • Yui Ishikawa as Fuyutsuki
  • Chiaki Kobayashi as Himuro-kun

For the first time, Miyuki Tonogaya published the manga on social media, where it gained more and more popularity. Meanwhile, the story is published on pixiv. Next Tuesday, the sixth anthology will be published in Japan. An English-language version was licensed by Comikey.
