I. Characters & Cast
Kyotaro Ichikawa is the main protagonist of The Dangers in my Heart. He is a middle school boy who has a dark and twisted personality. He often fantasizes about killing his classmates, especially Anna Yamada, whom he considers his ultimate target. He is also interested in murder methods, human anatomy, and horror movies. However, he is not a complete sociopath, as he also has a kind and gentle side that he shows to Anna and his friends. He gradually falls in love with Anna and becomes more open and honest with his feelings.
Anna Yamada is the main heroine of The Dangers in my Heart. She is a middle school girl who is a famous model and actress. She is very popular with both boys and girls, but she has a clumsy and naive side that makes her oblivious to many things. She likes to eat snacks in the library, where she meets Kyotaro for the first time. She develops a crush on him and tries to get closer to him, despite his cold and aloof attitude. She is also very possessive and jealous of Kyotaro, and does not hesitate to show her affection for him.
Chihiro Kobayashi is Anna’s childhood friend and classmate. She is a smart and sensible girl who often acts as the straight man to Anna’s antics. She is unaware of the feelings of Kyotaro and Anna, as well as her own feelings for Haruya Noguchi, who used her as a bait to approach Anna.
