On the official Twitter account of the manga series “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really Love You” (jap.: “Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo”), it was announced that it will be adapted as an anime series. We summarize.
Anime to be created by Bibury Animation
The harem anime will be directed by Hikaru Satou (“Dropkick on My Devil!”) and produced at studio Bibury Animation. Takashi Aoshima (“Kaginado”) handles series composition, while Akane Yano (“Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki”) contributes character design.
Starring roles include Wataru Katou (Marchi’s Jun Asari in “AOASHI”) as Rentarou Aijou and Kaede Hondo (Sakura in “Zombie Land Saga”) as Hakari Hanazono, while Miyu Tomita (Gabriel in “Gabriel DropOut”) voices the character Karane Inda.
The original manga by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa will be published in Seinen magazine “Young Jump” in December 2019. Publisher Shueisha will release the 13th volume in Japan on March 17, 2023. The work will be published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.

Suddenly, the god of the shrine appears, promising Rentarou that he will meet one hundred soulmates in high school.
Although skeptical at first, Rentarou quickly acknowledges the truth behind the god’s words when two of his soulmates—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—confess to him the very same day that they meet him. However, there was one detail that the god forgot to tell Rentarou: if any of his soulmates fails to get into a relationship with him, they will die. Now trapped in a matter of life and death, Rentarou decides to date all of his soulmates.
