Sydney Sweeney who starred alongside Conor ‘Angus Cloud’ Hickey in Sam Levi son’s ‘Euphoria’ paid tribute to her co-star via an Instagram post. The 25-year-old American Actor, best known for his portrayal of Fezcon in the HBO television series, died on Monday at his family home in Oakland, California.
A statement released by Cloud’s publicist states It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” Angus’ death comes days after his Father’s death, and his family revealed that he intensely struggled with this loss.

Angus Cloud played Fezco on-screen and Sydney played the role of Cassie. Though the pair did not have many scenes together, off-screen, they were quite close. In the show, Fezco had a close bond with Cassie’s sister, Lexi (Maude Apatow). In an Instagram post dedicated to Angus, she penned her emotions in a heartbreaking letter.
“Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing ive ever had to post, and im struggling to find all the words.” she said
“You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you.”
Apart from the letter, she also added pictures and videos of their time together, on and off the sets of ‘Euphoria’. Euphoria creator Sam Levinson told Hollywood Reporter: “There was no one quite like Angus. He was too special, too talented, and way too young to leave us so soon.
Euphoria was Angus’ first-ever acting gig. “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family,” HBO said in a statement.
Angus Cloud who recently turned 25, leaves behind his mother and twin sisters, Molly Hickey and Fiona Hickey. “There was some comfort in knowing he was now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” their family said in a statement.
Fans mourn the death of one of their favorite Euphoria characters online. His character ‘Fezco’ was one of the most popular ones in the show. Many fans shared videos of Angus from the show, especially some of the iconic moments of Fezco.
Others from the cast of Euphoria also shared their condolences for the actor online. The actor was shooting for a monster thriller before his father’s demise as per ET.
