Will Revisions Season 2 ever be released? What are the chances of a new season?

Revisions is one of the many original and unique action shows that isn’t given much attention in the anime world. Despite its lack of popularity, Revisions is a prime example of an underdog and underrated series that you can’t be messing around with.

The program has a straightforward plot but an engaging narrative that appeals to a broad audience. It is indisputably the ideal program for people who want something to watch when they have nothing else to do.

Daisuke Dojima, a high school student who was kidnapped as a youngster, is the main character of Revisions. He and his companions were sent 300 years into the future one day. Together, they must overcome the adversaries that prowl that era and reclaim the present.

In March 2018, Fuji TV made the first announcement regarding the original series Revisions during a live-stream event. Shirogumi, the studio most renowned for its anime productions like Etotama, Moyashimon, Stand By Me Doraemon, and Night Head 2041, animated the show.

On January 10, 2019, Fuji TV’s +Ultra channel broadcast the anime series’ debut episode. It ran for twelve episodes before coming to an end on March 28 of the same year. Worldwide Netflix streaming of the series was available.

Several of the series’ devoted followers are begging for a second season now that the first one is over. What is the current status of Revisions Season 2’s renewal?

Revisions Season 2 has not yet been addressed by the production team, the studio, or anybody else associated with it. The possibility of a season renewal is still unknown. Fortunately, it hasn’t been canceled, so there may still be a chance.

Will Revisions Season 2 ever be made available?

Regrettably, a second season of Revisions is extremely unlikely. The story was appreciated by many viewers, but because of the extensive usage of CGI, it has drawn a lot of criticism. As a result, the show’s rating is insufficient; it only received a 6.03 out of 10 in MyAnimeList, which is at best ordinary. The show was not even particularly popular to begin with, since only about 50k people have joined on the same platform.

Needless to add, Revisions is an original work, so there are no sources that can be used as tale material. Hence, in order to make Revisions Season 2, the production crew will have to come up with a fresh plot. Given the level of criticism, the first season has gotten, it would not be required.

Ultimately, it is prudent to assume that Revisions Season 2 is not feasible.

However, the anime is not the only source for enjoying the story, because the manga and novel adaptations of the anime will be released, according to the official website for the Shirogumi and Fuji TV production. Kuro illustrated the manga series, which was written by Jinroku Mygaya.

On November 26, 2018, Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine published the first chapter of the manga series. The first novel was published by Hayakawa Publishing in December. On June 26, 2019, the manga series’ final two volumes were released.

Revisions Action

Five people will face powerful foes in this prophecy, and only you can keep everyone safe. Second-year high school student Daisuke Dojima was kidnapped when he was a child. Together with his childhood buddies Gai, Lu, Marimari, and Keisaku, he participated in the unique phenomenon known as Shibuya Drift. Around 300 years in the future, they were moved to the heart of Shibuya.

They will encounter infinite forests and wilderness, scattered ruins, future residents, and “Revisions,” which are enormous mechanical monsters. A girl with the same name as the one who rescued Daisuke when he was kidnapped, Milo, was crushed by the monsters and had no idea what was going on. She offered a mobile suit called “String Puppet” and instructed them to defend Shibuya. The boys and girls are traveling to go back to their original time, facing enemies, prophecies, and separated paths.
