‘Oppenheimer’ is just a few weeks away from premiering on the big screen and Universal Pictures has released another poster for the movie. As the days keep getting closer, with each new poster, the explosion of the nuclear bomb seems to be getting nearer and nearer.
The movie is an upcoming biopic based on the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who helped the United States build its first nuclear weapons. Cillian Murphy plays the role of the physicist in the movie along with Emily Blunt, Rami Malek, Matt Damon, and Robert Downey Jr. just to name a few.
This is the first movie ever to be shot on the IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format and IMAX B&W format. The length of the movie is 3 hours and the length of the film is 11 miles. Fans of Christopher Nolan are excited about the movie, as they believe this could be one of his best works yet.
With every new poster, we get more and more insights into what the bomb looks like, but apart from the trailer, not much is known. Christopher Nolan is known for going out of his way when it comes to cinematography and directing. He does not follow the guidelines of movie-making and always does things his own way.
His movies are often known for their real-life authenticity and very minimal use of CGI (Computer Generated Images). There is definitely excitement among the fans to see how Cillian managed to re-create a Nuclear Explosion for the movie screens.

Oppenheimer vs Barbie
Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ and Great Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’ are 2 of the most anticipated movies of 2023. Movies tend to have different release dates but there is speculation that this was an intentional move by Warner Bros. This comes after the fallout Nolan had with Warner Bros. after working together for years.
Nonetheless, it will be exciting to see whether ‘Barbie’ or ‘The Bomb’ comes out on top.
