Nineteen To Twenty Episode 13 Review: Bittersweet Endings and Grateful Goodbyes

Don't miss

A diverse group of Gen Z people will be tracked in the Nineteen to twenty series as they get ready to reach a major life milestone: turning 20 and entering the year 2023. The participants in this special and diverse group will say goodbye to their adolescent years by cherishing special times with friends and progressively preparing themselves for the difficulties of adulthood.

Their thrilling trip is coming to an end from “19 School,” where they learnt priceless life skills and critical information to travel the path ahead. The cast members then left their parents and teachers on New Year’s Day and moved into the “20 House.” This place is a representation of independence and serves as the beginning point for their adult travels.

They had the chance to exhibit their lively personalities, make unanticipated connections, and forge enduring experiences in the “20 House,” which influenced their journey into adulthood.

Meet the power couples of the Nineteen To Twenty series

It’s time to clarify the situation. And if you’ve been following this story from the start, you know that things do eventually work themselves out, sometimes rather unexpectedly. As Ji-min works up the nerve to propose to Hye-rin while waiting for the sunrise and standing next to the bountiful waves of water, one of the most unlikely pairings ends up becoming our first official couple.

The second anticipated couple, who everyone has been pulling for since time immemorial, then appears. When Hee-ji defeats Pyeong-seok at his own game and asks him out instead, the MCs hilariously and equally scream out their thoughts that coincide with ours.

Finally, the long-awaited couple that so many of us have been rooting for crosses the finish line despite the insurmountable obstacles in their path.

Third and last of the group, Ji-woo and Jung-yun, hold hands. In addition to these romantic resolutions, some people also reach a resolution. In a heartfelt conversation with Sang-won, Seo-hyeon admits that she has been under pressure to react to his confessions but that she has actually been feeling something else the entire time. She also confides in Jung-yun her actual unrequited sentiments, and they both approach the problem amicably and with an open mind.

The housemates cherish the last moment together in the final episode of Nineteen to twenty

The season is about to end, and there is so much still going on with the emotions and feelings of housemates. In the past few days, the housemates have not only great couple stories but also some friendship bonds, and the housemates pledge to cherish them forever. Seo-Hyeon expresses to Jung Woo that she liked him and wanted to go on a date with him after coming back from a date with Sang Woo but never had the guts to ask him out. Jung Woo was shocked listening to this but couldn’t reciprocate since he had feelings for Ji Woo.

In the finale scene, the housemates gather to celebrate their last night in house 20 and had dinner together. They write letters to each other to express their gratitude and show how much they meant to each other. Even the hosts were emotional to finally say goodbye to each other.

We are surely going to miss this cute slow-paced teen drama on Netflix. Let’s hope the makers come up with a second season!
