Streaming provider Netflix announced that it has secured the anime adaptation of the romance novella “My Happy Marriage” (jap.: “Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon”).
My Happy Marriage Anime: Date still open
According to current plans, “My Happy Marriage” is to be released worldwide on Netflix during the current year with several different language versions. However, a concrete date is still pending at the current time. In Japan, the series will launch on television in July 2023.
The anime will be directed by Takehiro Kubota (assistant on “ID: INVADED”) and produced at Studio Kinema Citrus. Takao Abo (director of “Norn9” and “22/7”) serves as supervisor. At the same time, Ami Satou, Momoka Toyoda and Takahito Oonishi are responsible for the script and series composition, and Shouko Yasuda (“Happy Sugar Life”) contributes character design.
The series is based on the light novel of the same name by Akumi Agitogi, which began publication in Japan in January 2019. A manga adaptation by Rito Kousaka, which launched in December 2018.
