Who is Miyo Saimori?
Miyo Saimori is an anime character, voiced by Reina Ueda, who is currently seen in Demon Slayer. The character of Miyo Saimiri is portrayed as a naive young lady who has been very close to her mother. She has seen her mother being obedient and unhappy in her marriage and died without any complaints. Just her mother dies, her father gets married to his lover, and her daughter Kaya Saimori enters Miyo Saimori’s life.
Both the girls at the coming of age are given secret powers that are ancestral and are held by each member of the Saimori family. These psychic abilities are inherited by Kaya but not by Miyo. She is again disgraced by her stepmother and sister and is treated like a servant. Miyo has succumbed to her destiny. Her life takes an interesting turn when she is given for marriage to a man who is a gentleman in true terms.
What she thinks her fate would be similar to her mother, gives her a new identity and trust that her would-be husband is different from her father. She starts believing in herself and becomes a better version of herself. But her sister seems jealous and tries to evade her from any happiness.
Why is Miyo Saimori leading a cursed life?
Miyo Saimori sees her mother as a good wife and mother as a kid but little did she know that her father never gave her the love that he had for his mistress, later who became his wife. When Miyo came across this fact of an unhappy marriage, she could not come through it; even when she could not inherit her father’s psychic abilities she thought herself useless. She thinks of herself as a disgrace but she does have something which is revealed later in the novel.
